Who will win the B&N giftcard? It COULD be you!
Okay, folks: it’s crunch time. Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to enter my $100 Barnes and Noble e-card giveaway. All you need to do is sign up for my newsletter, Hartlandia Headlines. But you must do it before September 20th, or you won’t be eligible to win the giftcard. (I can hear the wails and sobs now).
So I just wanted to remind all the folks who’re, you know, waiting until the last minute to sign up. Now, now–don’t all crowd me at once! Form an orderly queue, for pity’s sake. But I do understand why you want the giftcard: it can be used online, in stores–anywhere you are! And if you use it towards music, movies, or something non-book related, well . . . I won’t tell. 
Heck, I won’t even know.
Oh, and after you sign up for the newsletter (you did just sign up, right?) don’t forget to confirm your subscription. The confirmation e-mail could be hiding in your spam box (they’re sneaky that way). So mark it “not-spam” and confirm. If you don’t, I can’t enter you in the giveaway, no matter how much I’d like to.
You’re also free to sign up after September 20th, but you won’t be entered into the giveaway. And I know you want that $100 worth of stuff, so sign up today!
More important info. about the giveaway
Just to reiterate some key giveaway facts: those under 18 CANNOT sign up for the newsletter. If they do, I can go to jail, get tarred and feathered, etc. (maybe). But if a trusted adult signs up on behalf of an underage person, that works. Also, B&N only allows those currently living in the US or its territories to enter the giveaway. I know they ought to be thinking more globablly at this point, but what can I do?
